Festival Royalty:
2011 Miss Bayou Teche Black Bear and Birding Festival
Queen VIII is
Abriona Kirt.
During the weekend of the Bayou Teche Black Bear and Birding Festival our 2011 Queen Abriona Kirt will host visiting queens from other fairs and festivals. Included in this years itinerary will be the boat rides through the Bayou Teche National Wildlife Refuge, shopping downtown Main Street , Franklin and the arts and craft vendors throughout the festival grounds and buggy rides along the Bayou Teche showcasing the beautiful plantations homes, just to name a few.
Visiting queens will also volunteer their time to help in the Cub Club Arena which is a FREE area for children 12 and under. face painting, inflatable's, the bear train sandbox, painting, fishing and many other activities are available .
